Briggs - a procedural content powered RPG
Short Concept
The idead behind Briggs is to implement a RPG based on proceduraly generated content only. There is supposed to be no need for any pre created graphical content by any artist. To achive this, we also provide an entirely new graphical user interface cause there will simply be none.
History:
This project started as a student project at the Media Design University in Duesseldorf, made by Stephan Dilly and Ingolf Kamen. Currently only Ingolf Kamen is continuing the work on the project.
Technology:
From University’s site we have access to the Vision Engine developed by Trinigy. We have used this engine in an earlier project and thus will use it here too.
Preview:
This video shows the newest technology features, such as ‘Deferred Shading’ and the new temple/house generator.

This short video shows the milestone we finished for the 26th of February 2009, where the final presentation for the student work took place.
